EVENT: 2026 AAPI LA MARKET

1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK
I understand that participation in the 2026 AAPI LA Market may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical activity, interaction with vendors and attendees, equipment or structures present at the venue, and other conditions inherent to a public outdoor event. I acknowledge that such risks may result in injury, illness, property damage, or other losses.
2. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
I acknowledge that my attendance and participation in the event are voluntary. I assume full responsibility for any risks of injury, illness, or property damage that may occur as a result of my presence at or participation in the event.
3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being permitted to attend or participate in the 2026 AAPI LA Market, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue AAPI LA, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, losses, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, death, or property damage that may occur during or in connection with the event.
4. INDEMNIFICATION
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless AAPI LA and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, partners, sponsors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from my actions or conduct during the event.
5. MEDICAL TREATMENT
I understand that AAPI LA does not provide medical insurance or medical coverage for participants or attendees. I authorize emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary and accept responsibility for any associated costs.
6. COMPLIANCE WITH EVENT RULES
I agree to comply with all event policies, safety instructions, venue rules, and applicable laws while attending the 2026 AAPI LA Market.
7. PUBLIC EVENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
I understand that the event takes place in a public environment and that conditions such as weather, crowds, or venue infrastructure may affect my experience or safety.
8. MINOR PARTICIPATION
If the participant is under the age of eighteen (18), a parent or legal guardian must sign this waiver on behalf of the minor and assumes all responsibilities and liabilities described in this document.
9. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California
10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read and understand this Liability Waiver and Release of Claims and voluntarily agree to its terms.
